FROM USED MACHINE TO PRODUCTION-READY LATHE

We don't simply repair old machines. We completely remanufacture them.

Each lathe is disassembled to its individual assemblies, inspected and restored from the ground up. Worn mechanical components
are repaired or replaced, precision surfaces are reground and hand scraped, electrical systems are renewed,
and the complete machine is geometrically aligned and tested.

The result is a fully remanufactured TOS Trenčín lathe prepared for reliable industrial operation.

OUR REMANUFACTURING PROCESS

01 — DISASSEMBLY & INSPECTION

Complete machine cleaning and disassembly into individual assemblies. Every major mechanical component is inspected for wear, damage and required restoration.

02 — PRECISION GRINDING & SCRAPING

Precision grinding and hand scraping of guideways, slides, spindle components and tailstock surfaces to restore the machine's original geometry.

03 — MECHANICAL REMANUFACTURING

Complete overhaul of the headstock, gearboxes, apron, tailstock and slide assemblies, including replacement or restoration of worn components, bearings, screws, nuts and gibs.

04 — ELECTRICAL MODERNIZATION

Installation of a new electrical cabinet and components, renewed wiring, motors and hydraulic equipment, together with modern LED workspace lighting.

05 — ASSEMBLY & GEOMETRIC ALIGNMENT

The machine is carefully reassembled and all critical assemblies are geometrically aligned and adjusted according to the required machine accuracy specifications.

06 — TESTING & CERTIFICATION

Final functional and accuracy testing, followed by the Machine Accuracy Protocol and Electrical Inspection Report before customer acceptance and delivery.

DETAILED SCOPE OF REMANUFACTURING

01 — Machine Cleaning & Complete Disassembly

Thorough cleaning of the machine followed by complete disassembly into individual assemblies and components.

02 — Precision Grinding of Components

Precision regrinding of the carriage, cross slide, spindle and tailstock quill to restore the required geometry and functional surfaces.

03 — Tool Slide Reconditioning

Regrinding and hand scraping of the tool slide guideways, including replacement of the feed screw and nut and installation of new adjustment gibs.

04 — Guideway Scraping & Geometric Restoration

Precision hand scraping of the headstock, carriage, cross slide and tailstock guideways. All assemblies are restored and aligned to their correct geometric positions according to the machine accuracy protocol.

05 — Cross-Feed System Remanufacturing

Replacement of the cross-feed screw and nut, cross-slide gib and tool post.

06 — Complete Overhaul of Mechanical Assemblies

Complete disassembly, inspection and replacement of worn components in the apron, thread-cutting gearbox, headstock, speed gearbox, tailstock and slide assemblies.

07 — Feed System Reconditioning

Alignment and, where necessary, replacement of the rack system, together with reconditioning of the feed shafts and leadscrew.

08 — Bearing Replacement

Replacement of bearings throughout all machine assemblies as required to restore precise and reliable operation.

09 — Machine Equipment & Accessories

Installation of a longitudinal micrometric stop and a complete set of interchangeable change gears.

10 — New Machine Plates & Labels

Complete replacement of identification plates, operating charts, safety labels and machine markings.

11 — Complete Surface Refinishing

Surface preparation, primer application, filling and sanding, followed by a durable polyurethane topcoat. Standard finish: RAL 9003 Signal White / RAL 7016 Anthracite Grey, or according to customer requirements.

12 — Complete Electrical Modernization

Installation of a new electrical cabinet and electrical components, replacement of the main motor, rapid-traverse motor and hydraulic pump, complete new wiring and LED illumination of the working area.

13 — Accuracy & Electrical Inspection

Final geometric inspection and issuance of a Machine Accuracy Protocol, together with an Electrical Inspection Report.

14 — Final Testing & Customer Acceptance
